Raw Milk Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups Raw Milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla
- Add-ins such as berries, chocolate chips, and nuts
Directions
Step 1
Whisk the raw milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla in a stand mixer until the mixer slightly thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 2
- Stir in any add-ins
Step 3
Place the raw milk mixture into a baking dish or large bowl (I prefer metal bowls, which help escalate the freezing process).
Step 4
Place the baking dish or large bowl containing the raw milk mixture in the freezer and let sit for one hour.
Step 5
After one hour, stir the mixture.
Step 6
Repeat step 5 every half hour until the mixture has reached the consistency of ice cream. This takes about 2 hours total, depending on your freezer temperature and the location of the baking dish or bowl.
