For many local families the cost of backpacks, notebooks, calculators, pencils, and other school essentials can quickly become overwhelming. That's where Operation Backpack, a program of the Southbury Women's Club, makes a meaningful difference.
Each year, Operation Backpack provides qualifying Region 15 students with brand-new backpacks filled with the grade-specific school supplies they'll need to start the year prepared and confident. Through a partnership with Southbury Social Services, the program helps ensure that every child has the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of financial circumstances.
