Good Food Starts with the Seed
Every seed has a story to tell. One tomato seed sown in your garden may reveal the rich ancestry of an heirloom and another seed the narrative of 20th century commercial agriculture.
Heirloom seeds have been passed down from generation to generation.
Quilts That Care
Quilts That Care is a Waterbury, CT, based non-profit that has been “wrapping cancer patients and their families in comfort and hope, once quilt at a time” since 2012. Deborah Van Steenbergen founded the group when her late husband Robert was undergoing cancer treatment. In accompanying him to treatments at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, Deborah was struck by witnessing other patients going through similar experiences alone and wanted to help them. She wanted to make quilts for them.

Cheesy Broccoli Baked Potatoes
Our family-style cheesy broccoli baked potatoes are a winning solution for families divided by dietary differences. Starting with naturally gluten-free russet potatoes baked to perfection, each person can top their potato based on what they like! The easy cheesy sauce is vegan, and carnivorous eaters can add crispy bacon. For a full meal, serve with your favorite pre-made soup (we love Amy’s Organic Chunky Vegetable!).
